Newest in the 50-Series from Kenwood, the TK-7150/8150 mobiles are capable of both LTR and conventional operation and are compatible with FleetSync(tm), the text messaging technology developed by Kenwood for cost-effective fleet management. The TK-7150/8150 operates on conventional systems with dual priority scan or LTR trunking systems, or a combination of both. These mobiles have a data compatible input pot for use with mobile data equipment, capable of data speeds of 4800 to 9600 bps. The VHF model offers 50-Watt operation, while the UHF version is rated at 45-Watts. In conventional mode, the 50-Series offers 128 channel operation and in LTR mode, a maximum range of 32 zones X 250 talk groups. The TK-7150/8150 also offers a single head remote option for further space savings. Repeaters

TKR-750 VHF / TKR-850 UHF

The TKR-750/850 Base Station/Repeaters are a basic, self-contained 25W continuous duty rack mount base station/repeater. The TKR-750 is a VHF model, and the TKR-850 is a UHF model, 25-50 Watts adjustable power.  This is a 19" rack mount design, with rear access to an external speaker output (4 @ audio), accessory/logic controller connector (25 pin) and test-speaker-AUX connector (15 pin). The TKR-750/850 features wide/narrow channel spacing per channel and has programmable AUX Input/Output functions. This base station/repeater features DSP processed QT/DQT and companded audio (in simplex base operation).

Battery Care

• Charge your new battery overnight (14 to 16 hours) before using it. This is referred to as initializing and will enable you to obtain maximum battery capacity.

• New batteries can be stored up to two years without significant cycle loss.

• Store new/unused batteries, at room temperature, in cool dry area.

• Batteries which have been in storage should be charged overnight.

• When using a rapid charger, leave battery in charger for an additional 1-2 hours after the green light appears.

• Do not leave your radio and battery in the charger when not charging. Continuous charging will shorten battery life. (Don't use your charger as a radio stand)

• Only charge batteries when they need it. If it isn't fully discharged, don't recharge it. (It is recommended you get a second battery for multiple/longer duty cycle applications)

• Do not return fully charged batteries to the charger for an extra boost. This action will Significantly reduce cycle life.

• Stabilize battery to room temperature (72† F) before charging. Charging below 40† F above 104† F will decrease cycle life.
